2451 Dufferin is a planned infill mixed-use high-rise development in the Briar Hill-Belgravia area of Toronto. The site seeks to replace an existing automotive dealership with 462 new residential units and accompanying retail space in a large podium and tower configuration that transitions nicely to the surrounding neighbourhoods. The project will provide parkland dedication on site which will unlock existing unused green space owned by the city. 15 Charles is a planned infill high rise development in the heart of Toronto just south of Yonge & Bloor. The striking architecture aims to bring a warmth to the node with metal panelled fins rising up the building and wrapping around the top of the structure creating a distinct framing of the slender tower silhouette. Bellwoods House, located at 111 Strachan Ave is a mid-rise infill development that will replace mechanic shops and a small bar with 322 new homes, while preserving a beautiful second empire heritage building. Bellwoods House is located between two future higher order transit stations, and steps to some of the largest green spaces in downtown Toronto, including the beloved Trinity Bellwoods Park. The design aims to preserve the residential character of Strachan Ave with townhouses at grade, but also seeks to activate the laneway townhouses wrapping the rear of the building. 45 The Esplanade is a planned high-rise development in Toronto’s downtown core consisting of two towers above a residential and hotel podium. The mixed-use buildings will house a new 138 unit hotel replacing the existing hotel on site, with complimentary retail uses at grade. The architecture acts as a transition to the changing streetscape along the Esplanade, maintaining an open but covered pedestrian sidewalk condition that offers the benefits of the former colonnade with an improved pedestrian experience.
